All data collected by Nafs is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. Nafs is built to help you disconnect when it matters most. Protecting your privacy is part of that commitment, hence why we did not ask you to create an account nor store your data outside of your phone.
Nafs uses your city to calculate accurate prayer times for where you are. Your location is never sent to or stored on any server, never sold, and never shared with anyone.
Nafs collects anonymous data on which app screens are visited. This helps us understand how the app is used and where it can be improved. Nafs cannot see your actual settings, location, or any personal content. All data is anonymised and cannot be traced to any individual.
Prayer notifications are scheduled locally on your device to remind you when it is time to pray.
If you grant Screen Time access, Nafs can automatically limit distracting apps during prayer. This access is used only while a prayer session is active. Nafs cannot see which apps are on your device, what is blocked, or any browsing or usage data.
Nafs does not require an account. No name, email address, or identifying information is ever collected.
Nothing you do in Nafs is sold to third parties, used for advertising, or shared outside what is described here.
